Late Christmas story

This is a story the priest told in church today, as one of those, "good examples for living out your life!!" things. It's supposed to tell you that you should spend more time with the people around you. Of course, it isn't nearly as elaborate as what I'm putting here, but this is what I imagined in my head when he was telling it. Also, I don't think the amount of money really fits with the time period I'm imagining it, but since I don't even know what time period that is, who cares!! Actually, it's supposed to be around the industrial revolution in America (Boston!!), but then hardly anything matches up, so just imagine the setting, not all the little details, like money problems...

Of course, I would love comments on how to improve the wording in areas and such. It would be nice if it could become even sweeter than I think it already is...I would also like more ways to say "child/son" and "father". Oh yeah, remember to read the dialogue as if you're in Boston, so take out all the "r"'s. I might make it so it's read like that...maybe later, when I get better at that...

A child walks his father home from the factory, both slowly making their way up the steeply paved streets, snowflakes whirling around them, the first snowfall of the year. The young boy rubs his hands, attempting to warm them against the never-ending chill, and looks up at his father inquiringly.
"Pa, how much do ya eahn in an houh?"
The man, tired from his long day at work, replies in an annoyed tone, "Son, not even youh ma know the figuh. Now stop pestehin."
The little boy, disappointed, lowers his head, but soon raises it again in a second attempt. "Just this once, please, Pa? I pahmise I won't ask again!!"
His father, seeking solace in the quiet of the night, gives in after the interruption, with a grunt. "Fine. I eahn twenty an houh. Now, fouh the luv a God, stop pestehin!!"
Smiling, the child skips gaily down the street, his father stomping slowly behind him.
Upon reaching the house, the child ventured to ask once more a question, this time on a different matter. "Hey Pa, could ya loan me just ten of it? It shore would be nice."
Finally pushed to the limit, the father immediately sends the child to bed.

Later, after settling down on a comfortable upholstered chair to read the newspaper, a mug of hot cocoa steaming in his hand, the father rethinks his actions, and regrets his behavior towards his child. Stooping down to pick up another mug, he gently opens the door to the boy's room, where the child, against his father's earlier wishes, sits reading on the bed, a thick quilt wrapped around his small shoulders. The room glows orange with a cozy candlelight.
The father sits down before his child, and places the drink in his hands. "I'm sahwy, son. Please, take these ten dollah, as a gift fahm me to ya." The child gaps in delight, and dives under his pillow. He straightens, a pile of bills and coins cupped lovingly in his hands. He then adds the ten dollar bill to the pipe, and presents it reverently to his father.
"Pa, I would like ta pay twenty dollah fah an houh of ya time."

Outside, a myriad of snowflakes peeks cheerfully in the window, at the father and his child. The first snowfall of the year.

Merry Christmas:)

Sweet (late) Christmas story. Plus Boston day 5...I think...oops, I got it wrong...it's day 4!!

Greek food is good...moutaka...moulaka...I forgot how to spell it, but it's good.
It's got eggplant, potato, and ground meat, and other things, but also forgot those...I'll write if I find it. It's at a place called Quincy market, in Boston, Massachusetts, (well duh!!) at a restaurant called Greek style food, or something similar...well, it's the only one named like that, so it's kinda hard to miss. There's also a veggie version...yum...

I think I may turn into a vegetarian when I'm older, or maybe the only meat I'll eat is Asian style cooking...I dunno...

But I do know that I'll probably reject all sweets besides chocolate. I'm kinda reluctant to suddenly switch to no sweets but chocolate, cuz I've eaten sweets my whole life...oh yeah, this also includes ice cream. I kinda like frozen yogurt, but if there's sherbet, I'll stick to that, and I'll also keep pastries. I'm already rejecting sodas (well, pop, soft drinks, carbonated drinks, depending on who you live). The reason I'm rejecting all these is cuz they all make me feel sick for some reason...I dunno...well, except for the meat thing. That was just something i was thinking about, cuz I think veggies/grains may be my favorite food groups.

I was trying to make that short...I spent too much space writing about food...I could actually write quite a lot on food...

Anyways, I'll put the story on the next post, cuz I think it deserves all the attention. It's really sweet...at least, that's what I think...

Boston day...Boston full day 3?

A horrible combo anywhere, a very, very stupid combo in Boston:
A guy (about twelve or so) with...
Hair that looks like a blonder, neater, longer, and curlier (ringlets that stick out in all directions) version of Edward scissor hands
A chubby, purely white face
An annoying smile...
A red, long sleeved shirt with a SLEEVELESS blue vest on top of it
Green (I would call it khaki green...olive green? I guess so...) SHORTS
You can't imagine how many things I saw wrong with this kid when I saw him...
The Harvard museum is interesting...
There was a person playing the pipes outside on the street, and a guitarist in the subway.
There's also this old man, he may be blind, I dunno, who sings Christmas carols. I've seen him twice...and once when I got off a subway train, there was someone singing on the other side. I couldn't see him.

And...I found a wonderful store in a mall called "garage mall". Beside the mall was a restaurant called "UNO". Nice name...I took a pic, but I can't upload anything from the cam cuz I don't have the cable...oh yah, inside garage mall was a shop called...GASP!! Anime Zappa...anime "z" something...I forgot what's after the z, and I'm charging the cam battery so I can't find it on my cam...BUT IT WAS FULL OF ANIME STUFF!! I FOUND LUCKY STAR, HATSUNE MIKU, DOMO, POKEMON, THOSE STICKS DIPPED IN CHOCO THAT JISU LIKES, AND MANY MORE!! AND THERE WERE ALSO SEVERAL SHELVES DEDICATED TO STUDIO GHIBLI!! YAYYYYY!! Ok...I only looked around though...so no souvenirs...

Good day to y'all.

Oh yes. In my AP HuG textbook, in the language chapter...I think...about dialects? It talked about how people in the north don't sound their "r". Well, they really don't.
A trolley driver showed us this:
(remember to take out all the "r", at least in B)
A: that's a nice pair of khakis you got!!
B: whad are ya, a weirdo? All they're for are for starting the car! (up in Boston: car keys sound like khakis. Get it?? Haha...)

Christmas break

You'd think that a break would be relaxing, right?
Well, on Friday, after school, I had to rush to get ready for a party, and then had the party, which lasted until 11am the next day...then I had to rush to go to a rehearsal with my (pathetic) church orchestra. And then there was another party after that, with my mom's side of the family...

Actually, before the party with my mom's side of the family, we went out to eat with my dad's side of the family....I don't get it...every event, such as Christmas or thanksgiving, in which most of the family comes over, we always have to go out to eat twice...sigh...except we passed on the second one...so yah...

Well, the next day...was Sunday...so we went to church, came back, and I watched as my pitiful brothers took an HOUR to wrap ONE PRESENT EACH!! GAHHH!! Ok...

Then we had the party with my dads side of the family, a crazy four uncles and two aunts. One uncle didn't come though...

This year we have had three boys born into my dad's side of the family, and their names all start with "a". They call them the dragon babies. I just call them the babies that took up half the rooms in my house...

Hmm...monday, christmas eve...we cleaned...and cleaned...and we also messed around with our christmas presents. Watercolor pencils are fun...we also went to the 4pm mass, where my brother and I played with the orchestra. Really, really pitiful orchestra...the clarinet next to me didn't play w single note that sounded good. In the middle, EASIEST, octave to get out (my teacher calls it the throat tones), every note was VERY, VERY airy. And when she tried to go over the break (if you want this explained, ask someone holding a clarinet) you only heard air...lots and lots of air...the other clarinet was good, for an eighth grader...

The violin was way too timid. He also did vibrato on EVERYTHING, so sometimes, the only sounds you could hear from him were there weird, scattered notes, because the vibrato broke up each of his quiet notes so much that the sound was only heard sometimes...however you write that....

And his brother looks like vivi's love<3 except with brown hair...

Besides me, the two clarinets, the violin and the cello, there was also another cello, what I think was a viola, a flute, a trombone, and my brother, who's a French horn. Of course, for y'all non-band geeks, we're not literally our instrument, just saying...it's just a lot easier to say "clarinet" or "flute" than "clarinetist" or "flutist/flautist"

Anyways, Christmas day, we woke up, opened some presents...oh yeah, after the mass on Monday, I visited my friends, who were having a party down the street. I learned I like plain avocados, and not my mom's...yah...so I had an urge to eat avocados throughout the night...when I went home, I packed for my upcoming trip...

Back to Christmas day. After opening presents, I stuffed the rest of my stuff I'm my bag and went to the airport. Then I took a four hour flight to Newark airport, in new york, new jersey, or the border of the two...I don't know exactly...I then waited for two hours to take a 34 minute (34!! ...) plane ride to Logan international airport. Now I'm in Boston...goody for me...

I'll comment on my insights throughout the trip here in the next post...this ones getting pretty long...

Thoughts to think about...

You know what might make an odd story? The Genius that Spawned a Special Ed. I'm not trying to be insulting, I was just thinking of the irony earlier...it could be a comedy...then, if it's good enough, it would turn into a hit play...make it to broadway...haha, I'm a poet and I didn't know it!!

Did you know you can spam comments?

I like this fortune:

Life's a gamble---so roll the dice.

Either that or throw...but I think it's roll.
If you've heard of it, this is from a restaurant called king's buffet. They have very unique fortunes, not those lame "oh, look forward to good fortune in your future" or "someone you treasure has something to say to you tomorrow!!". The ones from king's buffet are kinda philosophical...that's why I like them. Also, they teach you how to say Chinese words on the backs, like, for the one I showed you, it teaches you how to say dumpling. Also part of the reason it's one of my favorites:D

You know a guy really loves you when he lets you shower first after a five-k, cuz he says the water would get cold or something.

You know you really love him if you accept.

The world revolves around me, cuz I'm HOTT!! LIKE THE SUN!!
That needs to be rephrased...

You think hot and cool=warm? Well, it doesn't!! It equals a melted Popsicle, a crying kid, and an angry parent!! Where's the warm in that?!?!

If I ever have a boyfriend, this is what I'll probably be thinking:

When he leans close to talk into my ear: what the hell are you doing?!? You think that's cool or something? F*ck off!! Ruining my concentration!!

You ever watch those cliched manga where the studious girl is bothered by the over energetic guy, and just keeps thinking they're annoying? I think I'm like that...

When he give me a looooooooonnnngg hug: my freedom of movement is gone. My freedom of movement is gone. My freedom of movement is gone! My freedom of movement is gone!! My freedom of movement is GONE!!! MY. FREEDOM. OF. MOVEMENT. IS. GONE. MY FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IS GOOONNNNEEE!!!!! HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO HUG ME!?!?!?!

Cat!!

I'm not obsessed with cats, truthfully...I actually haven't pet a cat for...well, a very long time. But I was trying to draw a bunny on photoshop, but it turned into a horrible mess, so I made a cat instead...pretty sure I got the body wrong, but what are looks in the face of art?!?! That really doesn't make sense, so, anyways...:

It won't let me put the cat pic on...
I'll try when I get on a computer...

Something about me...

I think I am rather sarcastically insulting...

I'm cold...

HEARTED!!
No, not really...I'm just cold right now...
I have a soul of ice!! And everything it touches, freezes!!! And so I create a legacy of cold, freezing all warm hearts coming in my path!! And soon, the whole world will be under ice, and the only warm creatures will be the white mice scurrying beneath the cold, bleak land.

Just being me...

You know, I think it's kinda funny how my friends (azalea hayden, Jennifer crests, and vivette newby? I don't know what her blog name is...) are speaking all stiffly, like, jc seems to be trying to make a poem out of her blog posts, azalea's using all these intellectual words and such, Hayden (AH are two people sharing a blog...it's supposed to be for their book)...I dont know...she makes her blogs sound worldly, cuz she's always adding quotes and stuff...and then you get to me...yeah, me...

I think I may have said before, but these posts look nearly exactly like my bored emails to friends.
Just me and my rants...haha...

Vivi doesn't do anything, I think...just being herself, I guess...

I've come up with a list of nicknames for blog nicknames: actually, I just came up with it right now, cuz who wants to write those long lists of names?

Azalea hayden - az and hay
Jennifer crests - TOOTHPASTE!! Either that, or Jen or Jenny
Vivette newby - vivi
Me - lolli

I currently don't have any other followers...
Did you know the united states has a blog? I wanna read it, but it's probably about laws and stuff...

Ooh, if you took the PSAT, then look at the paper they gave you with your scores. If you have the same one I do, then all the kids sitting on the stairs have big noses...I noticed during science today...

I'm fifteen now, did I say? I probably did...

When you get older, everything in life becomes a blur...every day goes by at lightning speed, and half the school year's gone in a moment
Remember when you used to freak out over the (I took the TAKS test [texas assessment of knowledge and skills]) whatever test they make you take each year, for a month before you actually took it? And now, you forget it's coming up til the day before?
It's like that with birthdays now, in a way...it used take half a year before I got used to saying "oh, I'm 9 now!" and I never truly felt 13 until the first time I had to call myself 14...
And now...I feel like I could care less about the transition between 14 and 15...
Maybe I'm going emotionless, cold hearted, or maybe I have no life (I don't. I'm a crazy cat lady writing to herself on a blog. Duh), but...

Does everyone feel like that?
I've also has a thought that maybe I'm the only human, and everyone else are robots and clones...just a thought...
And, we don't see the same colors. My red could look like your green, but since we don't know that we see different colors, we call them the same thing and could give a d**m to philosophy.

Did you know some of the most popular curse words are words for going to the bathroom?

Poo:
Sh*t
Cr*p
Fu*k

Urine:
Piss

Kindling, like twigs, what you start a fire with (nothing to do with bathroom, but oh well...)
F*ggot

It feels bad to end a post with curse words, so I'll carry on a little longer.

Whats your favorite number?
Mines currently 15 and 21
The first changes each year to fit my age, and as for the 21, I've always debated whether I liked 21, 25, or 27 the best. Don't know what happened to 29..
Concerning the 711 in LolliPop711, IT'S NOT THE GAS STATION!! I literally chose it because they rhymed. Truly, no lies.

Goodbye...

PSAT:)

I got a 208 on my PSAT!! Woot, woot!! Haha, 98%!! And I aced the writing section!!
Sorry...I'm just happy...

(con.)

Oh, this is so frustrating!!  I want to know who's viewing my blog, but I don't know if I can do that!!
Please, comment!!  I don't want to be a depressed old lady who seeks comfort in writing to herself!!

Long time, no see, I guess...

I'm actually on here because I forgot what my blog looked like...
But, anyways, I made region band!! Both freshman and high school!!
I have this superstition that if I talk about a contest/audition the week of it, I'll jinx it, and I'll fail...
But yah, I made it. You're not getting the chair out of me!! When I get a chair I'm completely satisfied with, I'll write it, but this year, too bad.

I turned fifteen this week!! Now I can learn to drive!!
Haha, do I sound smart saying that?
I've always been amazed at people who can say stuff like that so easily...like, my friends will have long discussions about colleges and such, but I'm just thinking, omg, where and when in the world did you learn all this?!?! I have to wonder sometimes if they say it just to sound smart...like, I'm saying the I can learn to drive thing because it makes me seem somewhat connected to the modern world...

I don't know what to write, because I just wanted to know what my blog looks like...I have a livejournal that I never started, and its background is a bunch of elephants...I wish google had more backgrounds...that would be nice...

Ope, it's not me...I just updated this post, and when I came back, it said there were 52 views...earlier, it said five were from Firefox, and now there are seven.  I'm in safari...so...hello, person...

Hello!!

Haha, hello!!  I've been meaning to start a blog for a while, but I've just been way too lazy too:P  I don't expect anyone to read this, but it'd be nice if you did!!  Then again, writing that is pointless, cuz, well, if you are reading this, hah, you're contradicting my previous sentence.  That's basically how most of my blog posts are going to be like, I think...my friends suggested I start a blog, since I send them so many emails about random junk, and I've always wanted to just collect all of those ideas contained in that junk into one organized...blog?  Hah, yeah, I guess that's what it is now!!  Do I sound too optimistic? Well, I guess I'll just get started, then...
I just switched over to the blogger app, because blogger online on iPad is just weird...everything lags, and I can't type anything...
I have so much random stuff to say, but I feel like whoever you are may be kinda disconcerted reading it all, but I really just made this as my own personal rant diary, as I somewhat said before, so WHO CARES!!
I'm trying to get rid of my habit of using so many ellipses (...), but they're so convenient!! They're very useful when you don't really want to end a sentence, but have to, or it wouldn't make sense...like I just did. Sort of like an unfinished thought...
I'm sorry, this post is going to get kinda long...forgive my selfishness, not taking the reader's sanity into account:D
:43 I just came up with that today. It's a chicken!! Haha:)
I'm currently watching the anime Sword Art Online. Yah, I'm a manga and anime addict, and I'm proud of it!! I like to draw, too, I have a Deviantart (myLolliPop711), and I'm currently still in my manga drawing phase. I don't think that'll ever end, though, I like it too much...I'll add something to the deviantart eventually...one day...Oh yeah, back to Sword Art Online. I now excitedly await 12pm on Saturdays, cuz that's when the newest episode is released on Crunchyroll. It's very, well, not exciting, I really don't know what...very interesting, I guess. It's about a game (haha, VRMMORPG) called, you guessed it!! Sword Art Online, and the creator of the game has made it so that no one can log out until all one hundred floors have been cleared. So far, Kirito (main character) has beaten the game, and the anime is now in the part where the girl Kirito fell in love with (Asuna) is trapped in another game called Alfheim, and that's all there is for now. I really like it. I think I'll call it one of my favorites, along with Ouran High School. I love that anime:) I think it's hilarious. Also, one day if you get bored, you should watch poyo. So cute!!!! (I'm a high school girl, just so you know. It's our job to get excited about cute things.)
Actually, I don't know what to talk about right now, unless you want a full out rant, because I sorta am taking your sanity into account, or more like, my "I just 'met' you, don't wanna get into too personal rants, that would be awkward!!" is surfacing. So, if I think of something in the minute still left of today, I'll write it. But otherwise, goodbye!!
