This is actually because I ran out of translated sun knight chapters...sigh...
Not that SAO is finished, either, but it has about twice as many volumes as the translated sun knight volumes...so...
I'm actually questioning whether I should start reading it or not. How fast does the SAO author write? I think they translate one chapter or two chapters per month with sun knight...I'm trying not to question the speed, cuz I don't know if the translators have other things going on or if it's really hard to translate Chinese...but, that does seem pretty slow...
I am now seriously debating...if I start reading SAO, then I will be immersed in it for a while...sigh...yu Wo, I am not as loyal a fan as you may think...only half prince is fully translated! None of her other stories are (except maybe for one...)!! Wahhhhhh!!! I wanna read sun knight!!! And he finally is (was...) in a romantic relationship!! I was happy for Grisia!! Wahahahaha.....:(

It's amazing, when you want to get away from your parents, how many noodles you can pick up with your chopsticks and stuff into your mouth. Gosh, eating such big mouthfuls made me feel like Jan Di from boys over flowers...Ughh...

So, my family visited a college today, and later, my parents asked me what I would like to be in the future. And I said computer engineer. Then they spouted off a bunch of random crap and you couldn't tell if they were trying to convince me not to be one, just listing facts, trying to convince me to be a graphic designer, not be a graphic designer, what any of those had to do with each other, how I should actually love graphic design (I don't. I just doodling stuff on photoshop. That's really the reason I took the class...).

Apparently, because my mind leans a bit more to the "artsy" side than the "math and science" side, I can't want to be a computer engineer more than a graphic designer. Why can't I dislike being a graphic designer??? Why can I only "like" engineering, but never be able to "love" it?!? Isn't there something called, "I'm my own person, you're not able to go and tell me what I should and shouldn't like more." So, there apparently is no way in hell that programming appeals to me more, and the totally unpaying unless you get lucky with your skills graphic designer job is better for me? Then, why in the world are they telling me that being an engineer would be horrible since everyone's an engineer nowadays and there are hardly any job openings? Don't graphic designers have even less? Do you see what I mean? What the hell are they trying to convince me about?! It doesn't make any sense!!!

Hmmph. If y'all go like "oh, I didn't think she could ever talk like this", then I will hurt you. I want to go back and add all the curse words I was thinking of when I wrote this. Be glad that I don't, or this post would be twice as long. Hmph. I don't think you understand my frustration. Goodbye.

I think i've realized why I'm so attracted to stories by yu wo. First off, she and I think alike. Gosh, I love her humor...though for some reason, I can't really pinpoint an exact funny spot. It's more like, she twists the story and the circumstances around so that when a certain line of event happens, it's hilarious...to me. If you disagree, then I don't care. Also, for the legend of sun knight (I'm really debating whether I like this or half prince better---I think the ending of half prince kinda ruined it for me...), Sun and I are practically twins. Maybe not in looks, but in minds, yup. He's like my soul brother. Except for the part that he's ashamed to be a virgin, and denies it every chance he can...I am proud of my virginity. But, ha, other than that, I love him! Now, if he could have a reasonable (well, long, ya know, with bangs?) length of hair, preferably dark brown with dark brown eyes (ya know, like a **cough asian cough**) then I may turn into one of those crazy love sick girls...ya know, stalker:43 if youve read the series, and you know me, you may not think I'm like that...but it's circumstances that make me seem different, nothing with the personality. Trust me.

Haha, yes, so at church TLC (teens living in Christ) there was an "abstinence" program, and one of the people there made it really awkward...so there was an answer session at the end, and he was a man from church who was supposed to explain the church aspects of abstinence and such...

So he talked about the effectiveness of pills...and, with his head held abnormally high, he went "yes, pills make it so that the newly created baby cannot take hold of inner lining of...that place (he didnt actually say this, im just so innocent [innocent, my ass] that i forgot the name of...that area. But he did hesitate before saying it) of a woman, and gets swept out with her period. All said with his head still held abnormally high...

Another guy also asked if you can get STDs with an animal...I've come to expect questions like that during abstinence programs...

1/2 Prince (aka half prince): by Yu Wo
A new VRMMORPG (do you see a relationship between this and SAO? I just like these kinds of stories, sorry...) with a realism level of 99% has been released! Xiao Lan, determined to prove woman aren't completely useless in games, joins as a tranny, and creates the everlasting legend of Prince!!
If it sounds weird to you, then you are right. It is weird, but more in a comical than overbearing way. Also, what I love about this author (from the two stories of hers that I've read) is that all of the characters have such distinct personalities, it's difficult to get them mixed up. Plus, she introduces them one by one, so even if you couldn't quite get the "who's who", then you can slowly adjust to them as the story flows.

There is currently no anime that I know of...but, if one comes out, WATCH IT. you MOST DEFINITELY will not regret it. Unless the art is crappy. Then, watch it for the sake of loving half prince.
Read the manga (though it's not complete) and you WILL be hooked. I actually like this series more than SAO, and trust me, that's saying a lot. [mangafox.com Mangafox is one of the biggest manga websites I know of. The manga on there usually have more recent updates than other manga websites, and it has nearly three times as many manga than a lot of others]
The light novel is complete, and it's hilarious. At least, to my twisted sense of humor. I'd even say its better than the manga. Except the end is ridiculous...several NPC-human relationships, and at least one gay one...[princerevolution.org]

Legend of Sun Knight: also by Yu Wo
About the "perfect, smiling" Sun Knight who really is a sarcastic, shut in who hates not being able to get girls because of his "sun knight" title. I haven't read very far, but this is basically just his adventures as a holy knight. I know all of the parts in the beginning that may seem scary (like, there seemed to be a whole chapter intent on using the words "corpse" and "death" as often as possible) really aren't, and actually seem to be there for a (twisted) comedic element (that I like, so whatevs...) though it may sound kinda boring being just a story on the guys adventures, I read through some of the later volumes, and I know it gets more engrossing, like, the holy knight becomes more of a dark knight type of person!!
It's the same as half prince, with the characters bring very distinct from each other. There are twelve holy knights, and so far I'm in the beginning of the second volume and ive met nine of them, and I could tell you exactly every detail of their personalities revealed to me as of yet. So don't let the number "12” intimidate you.

Sadly, no anime.
Yes, manga is cute, though not very serious sounding. Well...it's not like the novel is either...you should still read it, though!! So far, the novel and manga are great quick comedy works!! [mangafox.com, I think...]
