It's really freaky when you accidentally find the same person on deviantart. Any site like that, really...
I don't think anyone really wants to know this (tmi!!) but this is my own blog that I created so I could write anything I want, so...did you know, my brassiere (ooh, fancy) has been on backwards the entire day?? And I just noticed!!
Wahahahahaha!!

My top...ten
Well, I just feel like it, so now you're gonna get my top...something lists of MAL (manga, anime, light novels)!!
Manga:
1/2 prince
Magico
Samurai high school
Beauty pop
I think there was another...I used to only like shoujo, but, as you can see, only two of those listed could be called shoujo. And it's not an extreme shoujo either...it just has a bit of romance...
Manga that I like a lot:
Akagami no shirayukihime
Kyou Kara maoh (I haven't read very much of this...it's ongoing...sigh...so that why I only like it. If it was completed, I would read the whole thing, and I would probably love it)
Mishounen produce (I don't absolutely love it, but I like it a lot more than most. Very cute)
Otokonoko wa maid fuku ga Osuki?! (why? Just because.)
Anime:
Ouran high school
Little witch academia
Studio ghibli!! Specifically, Howl's moving castle
Sword art online
I like clannad, but it wasn't totally my style. I still wanna watch the rest of the anime by Key, though. They're still very good.
Yumeiro patisserie (cute!! And pics of food:D)
You should watch ame and yuki. It's very emotional.
There were more!! I know there were!! But I don't remember them!!
Light novels: (ahem, these are actually the only ones I've read:D hope y'all don't mind)
Yu Wo!! Specifically, 1/2 prince and legend of sun knight
Sword art online
Dramas, even though MAL does not include them. I've actually only watched one, but I'll also list some that I will watch...eventually
Boys over flowers
Planning to watch: (of what I remember)
Coffee prince
Princess hours
Gosh...I must've read hundreds of manga...or, well, a hundred...and maybe watched around fifty anime (including shorts)? And I don't remember half of them...they're just a blur in my mind...
That's all. Bye, sleep tight.

Bandquet
Yes, bandquet. Band banquet!! Genius, right? Az came up with it.
Yeah, so, I got a dress!! I normally wouldnt talk about clothes, but...I don't really know what else to talk about, so I'll just tell you the brief history of bandquet and me.
So, I went to Ross and got a dress, but I didn't quite think that was formal enough, and i guess my mom could tell, because yesterday she went, oh, you want to go to a different Ross? And so we did, and now I have several dresses. Good for me. I would feel regretful getting so many clothes at once...but then I think of the fifteen years I've lived without ever requesting to get any clothes--my mom always had to force me. Also, all the girls who go on shopping sprees each month...ugh...yeah, so I feel no guilt right now.
If you want to put me in a really awkward situation, put me in a clothes store. To make it even more awkward, put it in a store where the customers really like trying on the clothes (aka, dresses) or a lingerie store. To make me get really frustrated, make me go with my mom. I will get very annoyed. Seriously...and that isn't really a good thing, since then I end up rejecting every item of clothing I see, just so I can leave sooner...so, that's basically what happened the first time I went to Ross. We actually went to Marshall's right after that, and yeah, I rejected everything. The second time I was fine. Except...does you mom still try to go in the changing stalls with you?? That really bugs me...ugh...dont worry, I have perfected the art of kicking my mom out. Yes.
Hmmm...so, I'll be a girl and describe the dress. It's black and red. Woohoo, school colors!! M'kay.
I had to write something else...I forgot what...
...
.
.
.
Oh, that has gotten me started on emptying out my closet. I still have stuff in there from elementary school. Obviously, they don't fit anymore, and I would kill myself before wearing them anywhere (ooh, you're so cute, pink fluffy dresses with humongous roses!!), so I don't know why I still have them...
Yeah, I don't care if you hate me for writing such random things, but that's really the point of this blog (hence the name "random rants"), so I'm going to clean out my closet, the random things in my desk, my sketch stockpile, my iPad memory...oh, sheet music. Though I want to keep them...maybe I'll just scan everything then recycle them...
Ok, bye

Full of memories, we are,
Let us die with those in our mind.
Give us a day to cherish
To hold close, to love, to remember
Oh, I don't know...I'm trying to make it sound sentimental...ah, well...it's supposed to be sung, so come up with your own tune
I don't really know what to post...I'm (supposedly) studying for my AP HuG exam in three weeks...ummm...no more playing in band!! Yeah, knockoff period!! I made my Lamair pic in the GDI deadline, I'll try to put him up, though I kinda want to do him again, since I had such a short time before, and I wanna actually get the colors right...my brother turned 13, and I totally forgot about his birthday. I was at school, and I kept writing "4/26", and I didn't know why I had a faint recognition of those numbers. Well, I figured it out when I got home. Then we went out to eat at Jenny's restaurant!! They have some very...unusual sushi names. But it was delicious:D gosh, now I want more sushi...
A question...do bald people put lotion on their heads? Can they get dandruff?
I really got nothing else...
Will you dance with me on the moon? The stars, they light our stage. And the soft twinkling of the black-curtained darkness, slips back to reveal the show.

Huh?!?!
The thing is, the clarinet isn't even drawn correctly...excluding the fact that it's split in thirds...

Beauty Pop
I also began reading beauty pop (it's a manga) again.
READ IT. You will be SEVERELY ENTERTAINED (I don't know why I use that phrase...I just...do). It's about a hairstyling genius girl who is pulled into a beauty club at her high school called "scissors project", or SP. then, it's basically the story of her adventures.
I don't think the hairstyles are particularly very good, considering that it's a hairstyling manga, but I absolutely cant complain about the main character's (koshiba kiri) hair. I don't really get why I like it...I normally hate bobs, or whatever you call her hairstyle (puffy hair, as Naru Naru calls it, haha), but if the mangaka had used any other hairstyle, it wouldn't have matched. It just...suits her. If she chose long hair, then it wouldn't be kiri (this is her first name. Just a little japanese lesson: in japan (at least, this is what I think is true...I could be wrong...), you should call a person by their last name as a sign of respect. If you get close to them, however, you may be allowed to call them by their first name. Im just using her first name cuz its not like that in europe or america, where i think most of my (very small amount) of viewers are from) anymore...
Ochiai...ehehe...he sure does love that little hand position...
I have a big collection of manga pics in which a character (guy or girl) puts their hand in the hand position indicating that you're a lesbian. Just my entertainment:D
I'll put it up someday. I've been trying to clean out my iPads memory today, and so far I have cleared my 1,500 pics to 450. I think that's a big improvement. Most of them are pics of professional manga-style pics I liked or references for my drawing.
Since I'm here, I'll put up a pic of a guy for my turandot opera parody. I haven't mentioned this yet, except for in the "what will be the ..." post. I actually had to draw him as a sketch for my GDI class, and they're only giving me A FREAKING THREE DAYS to work on it on the computer, so I had to simplify a lot. His name is Lamair, but his real name is Amour. Maybe I'll put the story summary up someday...I should edit that to make it more...concise...
Oh yeah, in this pic, it implies that he's a holy soldier of some sort. He's not anything like that; I just needed to do something to make him look not so plain...his hair is bright RED (not orange), his eyes are light, startlingly clear blue, his tunic and pants are blue with gold trim and detail, and his shirt is white. However, the stupid GDI project may make me have to change that...if so, then his hair would be the same gold as the detail on the clothes, his eyes would be silver like his sword, his tunic would be blue, and his shirt and pants would be white. In both versions, his boot are a dark gray.
Hmmph. For the GDI project, we are put into groups where we have to design something (in my case, concept character design), and our goal is to make a profit of $10,000 for the whole team. However, my teacher said something about having to buy COLORS. For goodness sakes!! Why in the world would you have to do that???!!!?! I can understand why he would make us "buy" photoshop and other programs, but why would you have to buy colors?? They come free with photoshop!! Yeah, so that's why I made all those color changes to Lamair...sigh...and yes, one side of his hair is curly (though I'm not too good at drawing that yet) and the other side is straight. As a bit of rebellion, I'm making his bangs cover one eye so I don't have to draw it. Hmmph. Also, if his head looks off to you, I'm sorry, I had to erase it, and I don't know if drew it on again right of not...
I've been doing as much as I can so I can finish the project in three days (I'm not very experienced with digital art---that's why I'm so worried), hence the simplified colors, clothes, covered eye, and shading on the sketch. I think the shading makes him look like a golem...ah, well...better now than later, when I'll be freaking out over the deadline...
Yeah, I'm gonna stop now. This is excessively long. Really...

Wreck it Ralph
So. I finally watched it yesterday.
I am...SEVERELY ENTERTAINED. Addicted...yah...
I don't have much to say, though, since I forgot pretty much everything I wanted to say...well!!
So, on Friday I watched the little mermaid. And I have a few comments corresponding to the pics coming up.
First, I found a movie mistake. It's pretty obvious, and I'm sure plenty of people, including me, have caught it before, but still. So, first, the seagull (I can never seem to remember his name...) looks through his spyglass the wrong way, and sees Ariel and flounder "far" away, surrounded by LOTS of water. But then, it zooms out, and shows that Ariel and flounder are really right next to the rock that the seagull is on. Then, it shows ariel surrounded by lots of water again. What happened to the rock?
Second was just something I thought funny. Ursula is singing and complaining that she was left with "nothing" but then gestures at her body. Me: lady, you've got plenty there. Then, ursula says she's starving. Me: hah!
Third is about the leaf sebastian uses to pull himself into Ariel's collection cave. That is one very strong, very elasticy leaf...
Fourth: what kind of idiot brings a giant stone statue onto a ship?????????

Hobbies
You know what one of my favorite hobbies is? I love frustrating people. Frustrating people, deceiving people, tricking people--anything that has to do with taking advantage of what I know about human minds and then twisting people's thoughts around.
Yeah, yeah, I love to read, write, and draw, and, on a less lazy day, play sports, but I LOVE playing with people's minds.
I sound like a bad person...let it not be said to be so!! Don't worry, I (usually) always tell the person I tricked what I did (so I can have the satisfaction of seeing their shocked expressions).
I'm not a bad person. I'm just deceitful...cunning...a maniac...lunatic sounds odd...wicked!!...
I taught myself a lot of weird things in elementary school. I'm really conflicted with how I spent my elementary school years...I have memories telling me that I had one sort of personality, but then I also have memories telling me that I had the complete opposite personality...
What I remember teaching myself is...jumping as high as I could but landing silently, staring for a very long time (though I never got really good at it until 8th grade...dunno why...), EXTREME poker face (that I haven't practiced for a long time, so when I try it nowadays, it always slips...I guess if I really tried, it would stay...), lying casually (I am very good at this...too good...haha, Az!! Yes, I (usually) always say what I lied about). Well, bye.

Yeah!! I got in the top 78% for my high score!!
This is just a collage of the things I wanted to comment on, since it's such a hassle to upload a bunch of pics on the blogger app...

Boston Marathon Bombing
I would just like to talk about the bombing on Monday.
I was actually in boston during Christmas, and I had wanted to see the boston marathon this year. It seems ironic, and you may feel like that by saying that, I'm treating this as a joke. I'm not. I feel very sorry for the people who lost their lives, were critically injured, or injured. I'm sorry for the people that had to face that, including those who have had one of their loved ones hurt.
The thing is, that's all I have to say on the subject. I live in Texas, and something happening all the way in Boston is merely a ripple on my life. The blog post before this, and the one after will not talk about this event, and they will be just like my normal posts. So I'll make another apology to everyone who may read this: I'm sorry that I cannot truly share your grief, and that I can live my life happily and carefree while yours may be hurt. I'm sorry, and I really don't think this post is in any way beneficial to you, except maybe to explain the actions of people similar to me that you may meet. If anything, this may make you feel worse, but this is my public sadness for the terrible event, and this is really all I can say.
To the other people, whether or not you have any relation to this incident, I am telling you not to lose hope in America. I read in the newspaper today a quote from the father of a person who lost their legs, saying something along the lines of "I'm beginning to really lose faith in this country."
Even if you are not American and are reading this, I would still ask you to maybe say a short prayer for the victims. For the Americans, I would like to say that America is trying its best. This one incident is one out of thousands of incidents that have been prevented. However hard it tries, nothing is perfect. No one is perfect. Our country, and the people within it, have flaws, but we are working our hardest together to overcome those flaws to make this land a better place. We the people, right? We have to stick together and not break apart because of one tragic event, or we'll never be able to handle further attacks in the future. Have you ever heard the phrase "you need to make mistakes to learn"? While you probably heard that for little, simplistic things, such as messing up on math homework or forgetting your keys somewhere, it also applies to this. We will use this event to improve ourselves, maybe by tightening security, maybe by raising awareness.
Don't lose faith in your country, and try the best to overcome this obstacle and set our country on a path to recovery.

Happy birthday, mother dear
(though you won't read this anyways...)
We went to rosa's cafe for my moms birthday, and the girl at the ordering thingie magigy...cashier? In a way...well, the person that takes your orders at that machine thing. Oh yeah, she gave us free cake, and told us not to tell anyone.
It's also my cousin's birthday. Really odd...he's my mom's sister's son. How often do you get the same birthday in a family?
But then again, in my family, we have a whole week in December dedicated to birthdays. It goes: 4-my oldest brother 5-me 6-my aunt? 7-my dad 11-my uncle? And then a lot of my friends have December bdays...
Sorry, nothing much is going on with my life right now, so I don't have anything really interesting to post (but then again, I posted plenty last week...more than plenty...I think I've taken "random rants" a bit too literally...
Well, I dissected an earthworm last week, and on Friday went to Dallas to be part of a contest at the meyerson. It was really sad...the day before, my band teacher emailed everyone saying that the contest would take place earlier, because the Dallas symphony orchestra needed to use the meyerson later. But then, at the contest, one band actually arrived an hour late!! And so everyone was pushed back!! And then, (one of the guides even said "money speaks. The people with the money are more important") my band (we went last, if you care to stalk me) wasn't even allowed to play all of our songs!! We only got to play two out of three. Also, there were supposed to be four bands from a school in Houston performing before us, but three of the bands got kicked out and only the top band was allowed to perform two of their three songs. They came all the way from Houston!! Huff...
Well, I got Jenny addicted to free cell...sigh...

I was organizing the huge stack of papers by my desk (seriously, it's huge. It's got to be about half a foot tall), and I came across my "things I've been hit with in my Spanish class" list from the beginning of the year. I realized that the reason I had forgotten about it was that everyone but one guy who sits on the the other side of the room now that hit me with random flying objects has moved to a different class, or been sent to a delinquent school. One guy in my English class got in ISS at that school. That's really sad...how does that happen?? How bad do you have to be??
Drawings...
Im drawing my little baby cousin, and at first I drew the eyes too much to the right...then, to fix that, I just moved the left eye a little bit to the left, but then the eyes were too far apart!! And then I forced myself to erase both of them...
Wahhhh!! This is so painful to my lazy self!

Kelly Eddington
This person is amazing!!
She works in watercolor, but the thing is, she does it in a completely different style than most! Like other artists, she takes advantage of the "clear" quality of watercolor, but instead of making the painting really loose looking, she makes it really detailed, and makes it seem all clear and light!! And, it's also amazing about the level of detail she puts in, since well, it's "water" color. It tends to not stay in the place you put it...

I don't know why, but I feel extremely annoyed right now...maybe it's because my cousin came over, but I didn't think I would get that annoyed at him...ugh...
Im currently watching life of pi, or, as my friend calls it, life of cgi. It's interesting, but I'm wondering when it'll actually get somewhere...

The life of Pi
Oh gosh...a million jellyfish around him, and what Pi does is stick his hand in the midst of them!! And then a giant whale comes and eats the jellyfish!! And everything is glowing blue!! And now fish are flying over the boat!! Oh. My. God. Fish attack!! Wow...gosh, be satisfied with the little fishies. They just have to be greedy and take the one big fish. And how are you gonna eat that? I say...ew...
I don't quite see why the tiger is afraid of Pi. Pi really hasn't done anything to him...oh wait, now he's giving him some fish...it's bribery, I tell you, bribery!!
If anything, Pi can try sun cooking the fish. He can use his metal bucket as a surface and cut the fish into little strips. Maybe make fish jerky?
I think I've gotten too used to watching movies with you, Az...I can't stop commenting on everything...
Gosh, luxury raft...Ahaha, he did make fish jerky!! But he hung it up instead...and used his bucket as a drum...
.______________. No reason...
Whoa!! I know you're insane and all, and you did "tame" the tiger, but don't sleep on the same boat as him!!
Heh??? Hey, that animal isn't supposed to be that close to the surface!! Richard Parker shouldn't e able to see that deep, right? Oh, it's Pi again...
Your pencil's gone. Good for you. And now you lost it in the storm!!
Wha...
Dude, you're in the middle of a storm that could probably kill you, and you're screaming, it's beautiful!!
His hair is scary now..
Tiger, you're okay!! But the raft was lost...hah...congrats...
Please, I'm fine with not seeing under your arm. Keep your arms to your sides.
Oh great, go ahead and cuddle up with the tiger.
Live, Richard, live!!
Yes, always secure the boat before you leave. Smart boy.
Idiot!! Don't eat random things in the ground!! It's bright purple!! How is that safe?!?!
Omg...prairie dog looking things...millions of them...running away!! Hey, let them stay, they're cute...
Why does all the water glow in this movie??
Omg, the island looks like a sleeping person...even the food glows!!
Oh, they're meerkats...and you keep them to eat them!!
You know, even if you're Indian and are hard to sunburn, shouldn't you be baking right now with a ton of rashes from the salt water?
My favorite line in the movie "but bananas don't float."
I don't understand what he's saying...

So far this school year, I have "forgotten" to brush my teeth. More like, it'll be 10pm or sometime like that because I practiced my clarinet before brushing and forgot to brush right after, and then dilly dallied until 10. And then, I wouldn't wanna randomly start brushing. It's not too bad, since I brush again in the morning before school anyways...
Yesterday was one of those days...I should probably brush now...
TMI, haha...

Public Forgiveness
Well...this would have been really weird to put with my previous comment...so...yah...
Azalea, please, please do not feel bad. It was an honest mistake, and none of us feel any resentment towards you. If anything, being sad would make me sad too (haha, so cheesy, but true), and then we'd just be this depressed pair sad because of one little mistake that has already passed and is now forgiven again.
So, smile, be happy, and do not worry, you are forgiven! Don't feel so miserable!!

Ahem...
I just now realized that, in the lone dango, I named nami's sister yuri.
._______.
I had no intention to use the most common meaning for the name...
Ok, now that I know, she is now renamed to Yuni. It has no meaning, I just made it up.

Story Fragment
What?? Why am I (trying to) write a romantic segment? Cuz I wanted to write the last bit about the flowers, and I needed an intro. So...
Oh yeah, the setting is a color guard competition, in front of the gym where they actually compete and the judging takes place. Hehe...
There are two girls, "--" and "---". Just so you know...
She reached up and caressed Kieran's cheek softly, her other hand slowly turning him so that his back was facing ---. She raised herself up higher on her heels, and brought her face close to his. He leaned forward too, as she beckoned, and she whispered, close to his lips. As soon as she finished, she looked out from behind Kieran's broad shoulders and flashed a triumphant grin at ---.
From ---'s point of view, -- had just kissed Kieran. Blah blah blah blah, thoughts of betrayal, blah blah blah.
She dashed out of the school, the door slamming shut behind her. Finding her secluded corner, she quickly snapped the last dandelion's stem and began plucking it's petals off hurriedly. "He loves me. He loves me not. He loves me. He loves me not!" By this point, she was hysterical, the petals flying off the flower and twirling in a whirl storm around her, as fast as she thought the words. Maybe even faster.
Six petals were left. "He loves me. He loves me not." She kept going out of habit, although she already knew what the outcome would be. Her heart had been broken too many times to not know. "He loves me..."
Meanwhile, Kieran spun around when the sound of the door slamming echoed through the busy school. He looked past the colorful costumes and glittering flags to see --- through the glass windows. He began to push through the crowd, but a small tug on his sleeve held him back. -- stood behind him, staring deep into his eyes. What she saw was the opposite of what she hoped, and she lowered her face sadly and released her grip.
"Go after her..." she spoke the words grimly, and her smile was forced when she looked back up at him. When he didn't move immediately, her careful control vanished. "Go after her!" she screamed, her hair flying in all directions as she wrung it with her hands. -- pushed Kieran away, towards the door, towards ---.
He didn't say anything, but she could see the silent thanks in his eyes when he looked back at her. [The kindest look he has ever given me...] she thought sadly.
Racing towards the door, Kieran passed the flower shop from before. He hesitated, then grabbed a bouquet, shouting that he would pay later. By the time he reached the corner, --- was on her last petal.
"He loves me n---!" --- was startled when a bouquet of fragrant flowers were thrust into her face. Looking up, she saw a blushing Kieran, as red as the roses in his hands.
He spoke, the blush causing him to turn and hide his face behind the flowers. His message was short and simple from embarrassment. "Keep trying with these until you get the right phrase." (yeah, yeah, I really need to change this. So lame...)
--- gaped at him, and then the tears began running down her face. "Yes, yes, I will, I will!!" she flung herself onto him, crushing the flowers between them.
Kieran held the flowers out of danger, and patted her head awkwardly, but smiling all the same. "Silly, I didn't ask you anything..."

Philosophy
My twisted philosophy: partly optimistic, partly pessimistic. Take what you like from it; the meaning is what you make it.
When the world gives up on you...
give up on the world, and make a new one for yourself.
As long as you say that you are alive, you are alive.
As long as you say you are dead, well, you are still alive.
You are not the center of the world, no matter what you may think. The world does not revolve around you. ---(some word that means the opposite), the center of the world is a mass of molten iron, and you revolve around that. Live with it.
Art isn't a peaceful activity. Its makers are madmen who allow their emotions to explode onto the awaiting paper. Art is the sullied sheets of paper covered with the fragments of body, mind, and soul.

GDI
I have to wonder how my Graphic design and illustration teacher grades...
It seems that he actually thinks that this class, where half the time we fool around and do nothing, is worth grading harshly. Where does he find the mistakes to dock off five points?? I follow his instructions exactly, twenty times better than the rest of my class, and yet he still takes off five points. I don't get it!! Why??????

RingMaster
Yay! Well, since I am in the mood for it, this is the first drawing of RingMaster from my story "welcome to the circus" (currently a work in progress). He has changed a lot (in my mind), but I haven't drawn the updates to him yet, so yah...this is all you get. This is basically just a drawing saying that he has longish hair and a tuxedo. Oh, I think I drew the new hair somewhere...don't know where though...probably in one of those piles of paper by my desk...
Ignore the girl next to him...she's something else...for a different story, but I didn't feel inspired, so she doesn't have any real clothes...
I'll see if I can find Halle. She's another person from welcome to the circus...
Eh, I can't find her. So instead let's do grisia sun!! (this is someone else's drawing. No credit goes to me...)

Cat
Yay, so the pics can be shown on blogger now. So, without further ado, this is the cat I promised a long time ago...
And a knight. I like him. He's my second time drawing armor, and I'm pretty sure I didn't get the armor basics right, but I'm still proud...
